This shop is part of a social shopper amplification for Millstone® coffee, and Mr. Coffee®
I’m a morning coffee lover. Let me tell you how it all started:
I thought I didn’t like coffee. I never even wanted to try it; however, I had a change of heart in college. I was getting together with a bunch of friends at a coffee shop & everyone was ordering something. They recommended a coffee drink that said tasted like hot cocoa, so I was willing to try it. It was really really good! Well, I’ve been hooked ever since. These days I put a lot less in my coffee & I appreciate the actual coffee taste itself.
I have memories of drinking Millstone® Hazelnut Cream for our morning coffee with my godmother as she read the Bible with me while I lived with her. Such sweet memories.
These days I am a work-at-home-mom. I work as a social media manager & I write for this blog. I also care for my daughter (5) & my son (3). I feel like I have a lot on my plate, but it’s happy.
I love starting my day with a warm cup of coffee at my computer checking up on my stats & ads & posts. I could almost skip breakfast altogether!
So, I got to try out the Millstone® Foglifter coffee & the Mr. Coffee® Optimal Brew™ 10-cup Thermal Coffeemaker.
I picked up a Mr. Coffee® 10-cup Optimal Brew™ Thermal Coffee Maker and a bag of Millstone® Foglifter coffee at Walmart. I’m sure you’ve noticed the Millstone® area of the coffee aisle before. You can tell you’re there because they have this big coffee grinder right there in the aisle for you.
Our stove broke the other day & we replaced with an upgrade that I’m really enjoying. Today, I was able to upgrade my coffee pot too with the Mr. Coffee® 10-cup Optimal Brew™ Thermal Coffee Maker.
It’s pretty awesome & I know a thing or two about coffee makers. I have bought them all from drip coffee makers, to cappuccino makers & coffee presses. It’s fun to play with all of the options, but I’m loving this coffee pot as my everyday coffee pot. It’s sturdy & it is convenient to use. Instead of a glass carafe, there is a thermal one.
So, it keeps the coffee hot without continuing to cook it. Nice. There is also a water filter built into the pot above the basket for the coffee grounds.
That way, as the water goes through it, it is purified. You put it into the right side like this:
It has really easy to use water reservoir on the top left:
Here’s a shot of the power button that my son likes to say “Push it Mama!!!”
We like how it glows after you push it:
There’s also a little beep that let’s you know when the coffee is done & another one that reminds you that you have coffee waiting for you in the carafe. Pretty helpful & cute.
The Foglifter from Millstone® was pretty tasty & comparable to the more pricey medium roasts we’re used to. Super rich taste.
